You’ll also love learning from the educational signs along the way and keeping watch for Colorado mountain wildlife such as deer and moose!

Enjoy gentle climbing through the forested area along the flowing river. This moderate trail follows along the Second Creek and opens up to the north near treeline. At the top of the ridge you’ll pass the old Second Creek Cabin A-frame. Bring fido along since this trail is dog-friendly!
